Be an Advocate

Here are some of the ways we can collaborate to elevate the importance of agriculture as a climate solution for elected officials:

• Organize meetings with you, fellow constituents and your Assemblymember or Senator
• Host farm tours for policymakers to demonstrate climate smart practices
• Invite farmers, ranchers, organizations and businesses to sign on to letters or make calls to legislators
• Tell the stories of farmer climate leaders
• Place letters and opinion columns in local papers
