Each tool uses location-specific and crop-specific information to generate customized results.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initial set of tools are:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Heat Advisory Tool: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provides a map of heat risk based on location and temperature threshold<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Frost Advisory Tool:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Provides a map of frost advisory based on location and temperature threshold<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Crop Phenology Tool: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provides near real-time crop phenology information using crop and location specific information<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Pest Advisory Tool:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Provides estimated growing season pest generations using crop, location, threshold, and pest specific information.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This resource and other resources to support farmers, ranchers and farmworkers are available on CalCAN\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/calclimateag.org\/es\/climate-impacts-resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Resources for Climate Resilience<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> page.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Tapan Pathak is the lead investigator on theCalAgroClimate development team and a UC Cooperative Extension climate adaptation specialist at UC Merced.
