Sustainable Agriculture Leaders<\/h2>\n

The 7th California Climate and Agriculture Summit will be taking place on November 13 & 14, 2022 in Davis, CA. Leaders in sustainable agriculture and climate change will come together to grapple with the challenges California’s farmers and ranchers face with climate change. What’s more, they will share success stories and innovations for curbing climate change and ensuring the long-term viability of our food system.<\/p>\n

On November 14th, Climate Leadership Awards will be presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in their fields to accelerate a transition to a healthy, just, and climate-resilient farming system, and who have also demonstrated the ability to collaborate across disciplines and approach their work holistically. This year’s awards go to the following four people:<\/p>\n

Join us at the Summit!<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

The 7th California Climate & Agriculture Summit is a two-day event featuring tours of three Yolo County farms on November 13, 2022, and a conference with presentations and speakers at UC Davis on November 14, 2022. Participants include farmers, agriculture professionals, researchers, advocates, and policymakers.<\/p>\n

The farm tour is sold out, but there are still tickets left for November 14 when more than 80 speakers and poster presenters and 350 attendees will explore the science, policy, and practice of climate change and agriculture in California.<\/p>\n
