Deadline extend for the Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program

Pre-proposals due on May 29th

The Department of Conservation and the Strategic Growth Council recently announced an extension for pre-proposals for the Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation (SALC) program. Acquisition pre-proposals are now due on May 29th, which includes conservation easement and fee-title projects. The pre-proposal deadline for SALCP planning grants remains July 1st.  Full applications are due on August 28th.  DOC staff is available to provide assistance if needed.

A webinar on agricultural acquisition grant applications will be held Thursday, April 2nd from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to michael.shaw@conservation.ca.gov  by April 01 with the number of people attending, the number of call-in lines you expect to use, and the number of pre-proposals you anticipate submitting this round, if any.
