Investing in California Agriculture’s Solutions to the Climate Crisis

The state of California launched a suite of Climate Smart Agriculture Programs starting in 2014, the first of their kind in the country. The programs provide technical and financial assistance for the California’s farmers and ranchers to adopt practices that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, increase carbon sinks, and protect agricultural lands from development.
